The company
agena is a Brazilian company that develops and manufactures chemical specialties, operating in the industrial market for over 50 years.
It was founded in 1967 to produce glues based on neoprene and phenolic resins, but the need for growth and market opportunities led to the diversification of its areas of activity, significantly expanding the product lines offered.
Today, agena products extend to a wide variety of segments, mainly focused on oil exploration and production, process lubrication (drawing, machining, stamping, etc.), surface treatment, industrial maintenance, firefight foam products and production on behalf of third parties (toll blending), among others.
The factory is located in the municipality of Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro, 7 kilometers from the Presidente Dutra highway and 500 meters from the Metropolitan Arch. There are 12,000 square meters of manufacturing area located on land with 28,000 square meters.
